Becoming Beautifully Strong
Get to know
Becoming Beautifully Strong Counseling, Coaching & Consultation is a neurodivergent-affirming practice dedicated to helping individuals move from where they are to where they want to be—feeling heard, understood, and supported every step of the way.
This practice was born from the lived experience and vision of its founder, who personally struggled to get clear answers about what was truly going on beneath the surface. Even after treating anxiety, concerns continued to emerge, leading to the realization that something deeper had been overlooked. Like so many others, she encountered firsthand how difficult it can be to find providers who are truly knowledgeable, curious, and intentional about identifying and supporting autism and ADHD, especially in individuals who have been misdiagnosed or missed altogether.

At the Core
At the core of our work is a commitment to neurodivergent-affirming care. We believe that neurodivergence is not something to be “fixed,” but understood. If you suspect you may be neurodivergent, we validate that curiosity, take the time to explore it thoughtfully, and work together to get to the root of what you’re experiencing—without dismissal, shame, or judgment.
While we offer support for concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, our central vision remains clear: to reduce stigma around neurodivergence and empower individuals within the neurodivergent community. We approach care holistically, recognizing the whole person—not just a diagnosis—and honoring each client’s lived experience, strengths, and needs.
Becoming Beautifully Strong is a place where advocacy matters, curiosity is welcomed, and growth happens in an environment of compassion and respect. Our goal is not just healing, but empowerment—helping clients better understand themselves and confidently advocate for the lives they want to live.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Ohio (C.2406115) and Master Health and Wellness Coach who specializes in working with adults that suspect they are neurodivergent or are currently diagnosed with ADHD and/or autism. I believe deeply in meeting people as they are — not as who they’ve been told they should be. My work is grounded in the understanding that neurodivergence is not a flaw, but a different way of experiencing and interacting with the world. Therapy with me is collaborative, affirming, and centered on helping you better understand yourself with less judgment and more curiosity. Other areas I treat include trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, mindful eating practices, and more.

I draw from a range of evidence-based and body-aware approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work, EMDR, somatic therapy, behavioral modifications, cognitive challenging, gentle confrontation, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor therapy to your nervous system, your lived experiences, and your goals — whether that’s managing overwhelm, processing trauma, unmasking, building sustainable routines, or strengthening self-trust.
Transparency and authenticity matter to me. I believe that meaningful therapy is built on real connection, and that having personal experiences related to the clients I work with is incredibly important. I don’t believe in positioning myself as an “expert” over you — instead, I see us as partners, working together to understand your inner world and create change that feels supportive and realistic.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m an avid powerlifter, practicing meditator, and lifelong learner. Movement of the body and stillness of the mind plays a big role in how I understand regulation, resilience, and growth. Training my body and mind has taught me a lot about listening to my body, respecting limits, and building strength over time — lessons that strongly inform how I show up as a therapist.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, affirming, and grounded in both clinical knowledge and real-life experience, I’d be honored to work with you.
